About Mrs. Marchi
My name is Gina Marchi, and I am a first and
second grade high ability teacher. At
our school this is called DEEP which means developing exception educational
potential. This fall I will begin my 27th year of teaching, and I
can hardly wait. It is really fun to go
to work every day and love every minute of it!
I am a graduate from Indiana University with a master’s degree, and I
have a high ability license along with endorsements in kindergarten and reading
which I earned through Purdue University and Ball State University. I have taught grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4 in School
City of Mishawaka, and grades 5, 6 CCD at a private school. In addition to this I spent a number of
summers teaching teachers for the CLASS project in Indiana, and ITI in Iowa,
and Michigan.
I met Mike when I was in second grade and we have
been married for 28 years. I am also the
mom of three fantastic children. (Nick-23, Antonio-20, and Lina-14) I love
flower gardening, scrapbooking and making cards. All of this keeps me happy and busy!
